Twumasi
Clement Twumasi joined the Imperial Clinical Trials Unit as a clinical trials statistician. He was involved in the design and analysis of cardiovascular and respiratory trials (such as the MET-FINGER, ON-PACE, and PROTECT-HF trials, among others).
Before joining Imperial College, he was a postdoctoral research assistant in Biostatistics at the Oxford University Statistics Department until September 2022, and he completed his PhD in Mathematics at Cardiff University (from 2018 to 2021) as a Vice Chancellor's scholar of the university. He obtained his MPhil degree in Statistics at the University of Ghana with a brilliant academic track record. He has a robust background in mathematics and statistics, with a wide range of mathematical modelling and computational expertise across diverse application areas. One of Clement's new long-term career goals is to establish a career and a body of knowledge in trial methodologies.
