Statistical Methods for Contemporary Clinical Trials
Yingjing Ding

Yingjing Ding is a Ph.D. candidate with the Imperial Clinical Trial Unit (ICTU), School of Public Health. Her research focuses on optimising design and analysis features for paediatric trials in uncommon conditions and rare diseases, with a particular interest in the neonatal setting. Her research aim is to develop evidence-based recommendations from a systematic review, qualitative study and simulation research to help optimise trial designs in paediatric populations where the sample size is restricted.

Prior to starting the Ph.D. project, she completed her Medical Doctor’s Degree which involved research and clinical training at the Children’s Hospital of Fudan University, with a dissertation focusing on prognosis, discontinuation and vaccination strategy of Kaposiform hemangioendothelioma (KHE), a rare paediatric vascular anomaly. Afterwards, she worked as a resident doctor of paediatric surgery at Children's Hospital of Fudan University.
