Statistical Methods for Contemporary Clinical Trials
Graham Wheeler
Graham Wheeler was Deputy Head of Statistics in the Imperial Clinical Trials Unit and Senior Lecturer in the School of Public Health. His research focuses on adaptive designs for clinical trials and their use in practice, particularly Bayesian methods in early phase trials. In this area he has published papers on novel designs, released software packages, and set up several early phase oncology studies using model-based dose-escalation methods.
Outside of Imperial College, Graham is a Co-Investigator on the Practical Adaptive & Novel Designs and Analysis (PANDA) project, in collaboration with the University of Sheffield, Cardiff University and Lancaster University and funded by NIHR CTU Support Funding. He also sits on the Early Phase Trials Section Committee of the NIHR Statistics Group and is a member of the NIHR/MRC TMRP Adaptive Designs Working Group.
